On February 18, 2026, China's "Jiaolong" manned submersible successfully completed its "first dive" of the Year of the Horse in the western Pacific Ocean. This scientific expedition voyage in the western Pacific, carried out by the "Deep Sea No. 1" vessel operating jointly with the "Jiaolong" manned submersible and an unmanned remotely operated vehicle, marks the official entry into operational service of China's "one vessel, dual submersibles" collaborative operation mode. In the major scientific progress reported by CCTV's News Simulcast, the "Saturn" hydraulic manipulator, independently developed by Zhejiang CathayBot Technology Co., Ltd., made its appearance, becoming the "domestically-made super manipulator" ensuring the success of this deep-sea exploration mission.

The appearance of the "Saturn" hydraulic manipulator alongside the "Jiaolong" submersible was no coincidence. As an internationally leading manufacturer of high-end specialized robotic systems, CathayBot has always adhered to its mission of "enabling robots to perform demanding, dangerous, and critical tasks." Its flagship product, the "Saturn" hydraulic manipulator, is a 6+1 function master-slave controlled hydraulic manipulator specifically designed for extreme environments. Constructed from titanium alloy and featuring a fully sealed hydraulic system, it can withstand the ultra-high pressure and highly corrosive conditions at depths of up to 7,000 meters. Previously, this robotic arm has been deployed on the "Deep Sea Warrior" manned submersible, marking a milestone where domestically produced high-end equipment has not only replaced but surpassed foreign counterparts.
